Green Tea Chewing Gum

If you want to enjoy all the natural benefits of green tea in a gum, then Green Tea Chewing gum is for you. As we all know Green Tea is one of the richest sources of antioxidants available in the nature. The Green Tea gum has all the health benefits of consuming the Green Tea and it is especially useful for people who are always on the move and are not able to get their daily quota of Green Tea. But now, with the availability of Green Tea in the form of a Chewing gum, they can carry their green tea anywhere without any fuss and use them as per their convenience.

One thing that is very special about the Green Tea Chewing gum is that it has no sugar, calories, fat, sodium or carbohydrates and anybody can take a piece of Green Tea Chewing gum every day to keep your body healthy.

It is claimed that each piece of Green Tea Chewing Gum contains the number of oxidants equal to two cups of Green Tea and a patent is pending for the concentrated formula. So, in effect that would mean by chewing one piece of Green Tea Chewing gum you would get all the benefits of consuming two cups of green tea.

The credit for creating the Green Tea Chewing Gum goes to Dr. Stephen Hsu, a renowned cell biologist and one of the leading researchers on the subject of health benefits accruing from the polyphenols EGCG of the green tea. As a precautionary note, this chewing is not advisable for children below the age of 12 and to get the full benefits of the green tea you need to chew for at least 15 minutes at a time.

Dr. Hsu, the inventor of green has been inspired by the antioxidant properties of green tea that caused much lower rates of cancer in people who consume green tea regularly and his research had confirmed that the polyphenols present in green tea helped in eliminating the free radicals which are the root cause of cancer in the population.

His research also revealed that green tea released the p57 protein that helps in regulating the growth of a cell. He also confirmed that polyphenols destroy the DNA of the cancer cells and thereby attacking the root of the cancer. It has been proven that the green tea gum not only protects the tissue but also helps stimulate the salivary glands to produce more saliva in the case of people who have dry mouth, a condition that is prevalent in the population with or without cancer.

The availability of antioxidant properties of a Green Tea in a gum has opened up a new window for the drug delivery mechanism researchers. Now it would become possible to create gums that could deliver drugs as well as nutrients to the intended person. It has been noted that gum can contain as many as 70 ingredients and thus gives the researchers immense scope in gum-based formulations which can be released into the body by just chewing the gum.
