A Surprising New Diet Tool: Green Tea Gum

Many people have long used green tea as both an herbal and dietary aid over the years. For the longest time, the only way to get the benefits of green tea was to brew a cup and sit down and drink it. As enjoyable as that may sound, in today's fast paced world, that's not always practical. Thankfully a whole plethora of new ways to enjoy the benefits of green tea is becoming more prevalent on the market today. One of the most popular is that of green tea gum.

Most brands of green tea gum are not marketed to those who like to occasionally chew gum to freshen their breath. Instead, green tea gum has been marketed very successfully to those of us who are health conscious and know the benefits of green tea. It has been shown to be a great weight loss aid, and the ease of popping a piece of chewing into your mouth cannot be denied.

Where Green Tea Gum Is Found

The ease of chewing a piece of green tea gum is well established. The next question, of course, is how to obtain it. Green tea gum can be found in just about any health food store or larger chain grocery store. If you can't find it on your local grocery store shelves, then ask at the pharmacy counter; they should be able to direct you to where it is. If they do not carry green tea gum, there are a number of places on the internet that do and offer quick and easy delivery.

How It Tastes

Perhaps the most important question when it comes to green tea gum is concerning the taste. If the gum doesn't taste good enough for regular enjoyment, there is little chance of chewing enough to gain any benefit. Luckily, for those out there that simply do not like the grassy taste of green tea, a number of gum manufacturers have decided to infuse the green tea gum they produce with flavors such as mint, peach, and even lime.

If you're looking for an easy and convenient way to gain the benefits of green tea, you cannot go wrong with green tea gum. It can go just about anywhere you do, it can fit in your pocket, and a single piece popped into your mouth and chewed has the same benefits as two cups of green tea.
