Loose Green Tea

At present high quality loose green tea is becoming more popular with fine dining restaurants and hotels as a way to complete the perfect meal and also convince the customer with their presence is very much appreciated. To enjoy loose green tea you should not use boiling water. Green tea uses the water to be around 85C. These are some steps to prepare a loose green tea:

  • First place 3 grams of loose Green tea into a ceramic cup or inside the ceramic filter of the cup if there is one.
  • Then pour some amount of freshly boiling water into your ceramic cup. After that put a cover on top of the cup, and wait for 3 minutes to complete the process and allow the tea to cool for three more minutes.
  • Inhale the aroma coming from the closed container open the cover of the cup, smell the tea first to enjoy its pleasant aroma. Then look at the bright green color of the tea and you can find the leaves gently unfolding in your cup.
  • Relax and slowly sip your first taste of the loose green tea. Let it roll down your tongue and enjoy the subtle scent of the sweet grass. Slowly, you will enjoy every sip of your well-prepared loose Green tea.
  • Wait some time until one third of the tea is left in the cup and then you can add more hot water. You can repeat the same procedure with the same loose Green tea leaves up to three times or more.

Loose green teas are prepared with whole leaf while the green tea bags consist of the cut, ground or dust tealeaf. This is one main reason for regular tea bags which are producing fewer Antioxidants and more Caffeine than Loose teas. Another important thing, which you may consider, is a chemical known as bleach residue remains on the tea bags. Loose tea blocks with single wrapped are better than regular Loose teas and Tea bags, for most loose teas are not very clean when packaged and shipped in bulk.
