A Scent To Remember: Green Tea Perfume

Green tea has been recognized in the last decade as containing very powerful antioxidants. Even before this was discovered however, people enjoyed drinking it, and even using it in other items, including green tea perfume.

For centuries, many cultures around the world relished the scent and taste of green tea. Some thought that green tea could revitalize and open your senses simply from the smell. Today, its perfume is a popular way to experience that particular effect of green tea.

Green Tea In Today's World

Today, the scent of green tea can come in a wide variety of products, including green tea perfume, skin care items, and body washes. Green tea has also been linked to weight loss in the last few years, so many take green tea supplements as well for drop those pounds off even faster.

Green tea perfume has a fragrance that is hard to describe unless you have smelled it yourself. Some would say it smells invigorating, which really doesn't tell you much, or even grassy. If you have ever smelled a green tea bag, that may give you some idea of the actual smell. However, unlike the pure scent of a green tea bag, this herbal perfume often is mixed with other mild scents to make it smell, well, more cologne-like.

Green tea perfume can come in a variety of sizes and forms. You can readily find several major perfume companies that have several varieties of green tea perfume, including in a solid form that you rub into your skin or an aerosol that you spray onto your body like any other perfume.

As with any type of perfume, however, you will want to experiment with several different flavors of green tea perfume before settling on one. All perfumes end up smelling differently once they have been on your skin for a while. So, no matter how good that green tea perfume smells in the store, spritz a sample on your wrist and let it sit a couple of hours, and then sniff again - it is very interesting to note the changes in the smell of the perfume as time passes.

When searching for a special perfume, it really is true that the cheap varieties are just that: cheap. Dimestore perfumes often use alcohol bases, so they have a tendency to evaporate off your skin more quickly. Take your time shopping, find something you like, and then buy a small bottle, if you can afford it, to make sure that you like the scent enough to buy a bigger bottle.

Green tea perfume has a unique smell and spirit of its own. Green tea perfume is not a scent easily confused with others, and so can make you stand out from the crowd a little bit more.
